Free Silent Movies presented by Perspectives
Saturday, September 18 at 7 PM ~ New Boston Community Church
Explore the history of silent movies with this program presented by Library Perspectives. You'll see several of the classics, with pianist Richard Hughes and learn some history of the film industry too.
This program will follow the Community Supper at New Boston Community Church and will be held in the church sanctuary. Free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 487-3391.

If you are an audio or ebook reader, here's some good news! You can now enter the NH Downloadable Books Catalog right through the Whipple Free Library Catalog using your library card number and password. No "special prefix" required.
Go to the Whipple Free Library Catalog through our website or click here https://whipple.biblionix.com.
Log in with your library card number and password, then click on the NHDB logo at the bottom of the catalog home page. You will go directly to the NHDB catalog where you will be able to check out items with no further passwords or codes.
If you haven't used New Hampshire Downloadable Books, take a look at the catalog. There are thousands of books available to check out or reserve.

Air and Space Museum
The McAuliffe-Shepard Discover Center is a lively educational center featuring 21st century interactive exhibits on aviation, astronomy, Earth and space sciences, a world renowned planetarium and a variety of engaging programs.
Open 7 days a week. Free Parking.
Passes admit 4 people and are can be reserved at the circulation desk.
One pass per day will be accepted at the museum.
Knitters Wanted! Join us at the Library on Wed. 6-8 pm, Thurs. 9:30 am-noon
Knitters Wanted for two knitting groups currently meeting at the library! From beginner to expert, we welcome you. Meet with other knitters and needleworkers on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 and on Thursday mornings at 9:00 am. to noon. These friendly, creative groups welcome new members any time. Come in and knit!

Our new online catalog is now up, and available for searching online. Find anything in our collection by using the search box at the top of the screen. For a more focused search, click on "More Search Options". Or if you want to see what's new, click on "See What's Hot". You can also use the icons at the bottom of the page to connect to our online research tools.
You can now renew and reserve materials online. One renewal period and up to 5 reserves will be allowed online.
