Perspectives
A Friends of the Library group that brings great programs to New Boston
Perspectives is the group that brings many wonderful adult programs to New Boston Residents.  Begun with a generous donation, it now relys on donations and raffles to generate program funds.  If you enjoy Perspectives Programs, please consider making a donation to this program to ensure that we can continue to bring high quality programs to you.

Friends of the Whipple Free Library provide essential support to the Library

The Friends of the Whipple Free Library is a non-profit organization begun by Beulah Hayes in 1966 to improve the library's services, resources, and its role in the community.

The Friends, though its fund-raising projects, was able to contribute significantly to the Hayes-Warren addition.  Other ways in which the group has been involved in enhancing the library and community include:

-the purchase of videos and DVD's
-the purchase of special volumes and equipment
 -the annual Wassail celebration

The organization hopes to continue to expand its role through such fundraising projects as:

 - the annual auction
 - the New Boston Telephone Directory
 - the annual book sale

New members are encouraged to join the Friends in providing even greater contributions to the residents of New Boston through the Whipple Free Library.
