Make a donation now and help meet the
new $200,000 Community Challenge
The goal of The New Library Campaign is to raise $800,000 in new gifts and pledges from individuals, and other sources, willing to contribute personally to benefit the community as a whole. This goal, combined with earlier donations,
will comprise the projected private portion of the partnership with the Town for construction of the building, site development, landscaping, furnishings, equipment, various fees, inflation and unforeseeable contingencies. It also
assumes voters will approve the new, lower bond request.
Thanks to the generosity of early donors, the goal is within reach. An anonymous donor has committed $200,000 as a “challenge” to encourage others in the community to contribute. As of this posting, only $140,000 remains to meet the challenge -- and the overall campaign goal! A successful effort will require the support of many people who understand that the quality of life in New Boston depends upon much more than its rural charm and picturesque scenery. It depends upon the opportunities we make available for our citizens to enjoy fulfilling, meaningful lives.
In Appreciation for Your Support
All donors will be recognized in a Book of Benefactors. Donors of $3,000 and more will be acknowledged in a prominent display in the new Library. All gifts may be given in memory of or in honor of a loved one. Donors of gifts of $5,000 or more also may choose to designate their contributions to sponsor specific rooms, areas or items in the new building.
