Summer Reading Volunteers
Thanks for Everything!
I had 13 dedicated Youth Librarians this summer who together donated over 122 hours of their time. They helped with craft preparation and programs for the younger groups. They covered the desk at times and shelved books. The Youth Librarian program is very important to our summer reading. Extra hands are always nice.
Our summer reading program also would not be at all possible without parent volunteers. They decorated the library, they solicited donations and they helped at numerous events all summer long. This is not a one person show. The Children’s Librarian, Barbara Ballou, is very grateful for all of the people who stepped up to help out this summer.
